First off: a user configurable keyboard. Second, a mouse which contains a trackball embeded within it. Third, the dataglove was discussed. There was some consideration of using the dataglove to read sign language, but common sign language systems utilize the position of the hand in relation to the body. Lastly, a full set of IR beams was suggested, arranged in such a way that they would measure movement in all three dimensions.
